Symposium on the Tarahumara Missions

The Autonomous University of Chihuahua, with the purpose of covering the different stages that make up the history of our state, convened a group of specialists from various universities to hold a symposium in which the presence of the Jesuit missionaries during the 17th and 18th centuries in the Tarahumara Sierra was analyzed.

This book contains the compilation of the papers presented by the specialists at this symposium, as an important contribution for scholars of the history of northwestern Mexico.
