For historical reasons that fostered a deep-rooted tradition, in our religion, as in the rest of the country, art related to religious worship predominates.
This book aims to illustrate the manifestations of religious art in northwestern Mexico. It is not an inventory or a catalog, but rather a specific selection of the most representative devotional artistic assets that can be found in this part of Mexico.
Although with different approaches, all the texts were written by specialists from each state, aware of the need to publicize and disseminate the cultural heritage of the northeast as an essential step for its conservation, without forgetting that this heritage belongs to everyone and is for everyone.
